Shows a good speed, but limited in torrent (20 maximum) with a flow rate about 2 times less than a pc. Works very well for playing movies via xbox360 or PC. The goal was to be able to play movies and music on my Tv, tablet, PC, PS3 and smartphone from a single hard drive, wireless, from any piece. After being coupled by cable to the Synology DS214 (which is not wifi) to a router wifi ac (Tp-link Archer D7), the test is transformed upper-hand. No comparison, the Synology is light years. As for the delivery by Amazon. Excellent. The item arrived in perfect condition, I would say that I have had to change it because the article was not necessarily well callé in the package. However, the DNS works perfectly.......... for the time being.... because it was almost full, installation is super simple, check the disc a bit long(but not mandatory) and transfer of a portion of the files from my DS to the DX. The two seem to work in harmony and near perfect... I absolutely do not regret the purchase of this server. What a joy to be able to store all of my data and especially to be able to access it from anywhere and with all my media, phone, computer, tablet, tv!! It is aesthetic, I added two HDD 4 Tb WD and it works wonderfully well. The DS214 is my third NAS. The first was an NSLU2 that has worked for 5 years, the second is a WD MyBook World 2tb (+ 1 Tb external backup), which just let me go after a little less than 5 years. These first two aircraft have completed their role very honorably for 10 years. I have, however, used in a basic way because the ergonomics of their user interfaces, I was never really put it into trust for fear of "making a mistake".
